The cytology department at the Tbilisi Cancer Center conducts microscopic examination of various materials taken from tumor formations, based on which the preliminary diagnosis is established. The obtained results allow clinicist doctors to plan the treatment tactics of a given patient. Scrapins of the skin, superficial or hypodermic formations is being taken out with a fine needle aspiration, which is not considered a traumatic insertion.
If necessary, the receipt of the material from the watchpoint is carried out under the monitor, accompanied by an echoscopyst.
